Not only do I create and perform musical works with all my heart and soul, I'm at least as passionate about writing down my thoughts and feelings. Reasoning, meditating and analysing is all part of this and by putting it down in words Jah has enabled me to share it with others.

Gate to the Gods, or an Unholy Alliance?

It's not always easy to be a disciple, that is a student, of the Good Lord Yesus Kristos. But even though the lessons can be tuff and hard, eventually they always lead to a better overstanding.

The word "Babylon", or "Babel" can be translated out of the Hebrew as well as the Babylonian language. The definitions are not really the same, though.

When you translate the word out of the Babylonian, you will find that Babylon to them meant "Gate(s) to the God(s)". However, translating it out of the language in which the Original Scriptures were written, you get the definition "Confusion".

A closer look will reveal, that this difference is not only to be found in the dictionairies, you can find the same difference reflected in many parts of the world today.

Those who are influenced by Babylon, will see their roots as indeed a "gate to the gods". You hear it everywhere, that all religions should come together in order to celebrate the idea that they are all the same. You do have to go through a paradigm shift, that is a different way of thinking, in order to understand where they are talking about, but in the end they have found the key, the "gate to the gods". Any god. Any religion. They're all the same, in the end.

Those who are influenced by the Almighty JAH, will look at this very same thing and call it "confusion". A confusion is not only a state of mind where you do not really know what is going on, a con-fusion also means just that: a con or fake fusion. A fusion of somethings which should not be fused. And in this context, you could very well speak about spiritual fornication or forming an unholy alliance.

How relevant is it, that the last book of the bible, the Apocalypse, reveals Mystery Babylon as a whore, drunken with the blood of those that she has allready terrorized because they spoke out for Yesus Kristos? A whore is by definition someone who has unholy alliances for a "living".

And so, it boils down to a point wherein it becomes clear, that we live in the land of confusion. But when you start to realize the differences in definition of the name "Babylon", things become a little bit more clear.

What one calls a "Gate to the Gods", the other one calls an "unholy alliance". They both speak english, and they both translate the same word. But in order to know why they come to different conclusions, you have to know which language they read. And I'm speaking here about spiritual reading, not being a professor in ancient semetic languages.

Those who speak Babylonian, those who feel connected with Babylon, will understand the babylonian concepts as a "gate to the god". You hear it all the time, these days. "All Religions are one", and "away with the fundamentalists".

Those who speak Jah language, those who feel connected with Israel and the true Christian Church, will overstand the very same babylonian concepts as a "spiritual fornication", an "unholy alliance", a "con fusion".
