As
a track, No Worry Your Mind has been
released a couple of years prior to this EP
of six different mixes of the riddim. With
only the vocals and the bassline of the old
tune left, this track has been completely
remade. The results are fatter sounds and
DUB mixing. Especially for DJ's and
collectors, the track is mixed in several
different atmospheres and formats.
TRACK 1: DUB MIX 2
This one has the fattest bass, and a lot
of hand-mixed echoing as well as dirty
effects on the drums. The voice comes thru
every now and then, soaked in echo's and
phasers.
TRACK 2: DUB MIX 1
This one is well tight with lots of vocal
clips and filters on the chords.
Strategically place reverse effects on the
drums create a special vibe. All the
instruments are presented in the mix.
Perfect for some ire dancing on the drum and
bass line.
TRACK 3: EXTENDED MIX 1
This is a fresh mix, with the complete
vocal track in the first half of the mix,
before it turns into DUB style. Every now
and then, there's some reverbing on the
chords and the drums in the vocal part as
well.
TRACK 4: EXTENDED MIX 2
The second extended mix is more dirty
then the first one. The chords are echoed
and running through phasers during the vocal
part allready. The DUB is kind of relaxed as
well.
TRACK 5: VOCAL MIX 2
This one comes with the full lyrics, with
just a slice of DUB every now and then to
emphasize the lyrics.
TRACK 6: VOCAL MIX 1
Straight Forward: the full lyrics over a
no-nonsense mix with some reverberating on
the snare and chords.
