This
is the 4rd track of my Net Album Hardcore
DUB Sessions.
Massive Dub Sounds passing left and
right, the drum and bassline are tight as
can be, and the mixing is subtle yet
intense. Nuff bass to make your neighbors
quake and plea for a break if Hardcore DUB
is more than they can take.

I like the overall foundation but it
seems that you are using the same sounds for
almost all the songs... more variety would
be cool.

Frisch gespielter Dub mit geschickt
angewandten Effekten. Wiedererkennbare
Keyboard-Melodie! Sehr gute Qualität.

I like it, especially the serie aproach,
cant wait till I have heard them all. To my
ears the first was good, the second better,
and so on... Only one question: Why do you
call it millitant? Well... maybe I know when
you have put the last part online.
Greetings from Joure(NL), and thanx for
sharing.

That the same sounds are used is because
the tunes all come from a set I designed to
mix up live. So it's kind of a concert.
Only, when live I only use four different
tracks and two or three external effects
over my mixing board. For Live it's nice,
and it's nice to go to a concert where
someone makes dub live, but for studio
releases much more can be done. I have added
stuff for these studio releases, but choosed
to keep the original vibe in them as well.
No, I'm not really getting weary because
of the chords. The reason for that is that
my main focus is on the mix and on the
effects. It's kind of the effects that I use
which are making the variety. I am in the
middle of a proces in which I want to use
much more electronica rather then sampled
instruments we know from the rocker era
(70's).

Sorry, forgot to answer the question why
I call it militant.
Militant Style is a common concept with
Reggae Music. It is a referal to the
militancy which is so present in
Rastafarians chanting down babylon system
and translated into a style of playing music
within Reggae. The tunes from this series
can hardly be called "laid back",
"relaxing" and so on. Many Reggae
and Dub tunes are relaxed, the charicature
of the spaced out man with spliff on couch,
you know. This music is designed to wake
people up, but remember, when music hits you
feel no pain. I use samples and themes which
expose the works of babylon, authentic
material, and the intensity of the music
(especially the drum and bass line)
illusrate the urgency of the situation.

MD seems pasionate about current
political events in the world, USA mostly.
Please MD move away from the politics back
to the roots, ie. Jah, love, etc... much
better listening...
